A Day in Geneva

It was a beautiful day in Geneva, Alabama to visit and speak in the Geneva Branch. We always love seeing our missionaries, Sister Brandt and Sister White. We then spent the afternoon with the Kriser family, Zeb, Lacey & Ezra. What kind, generous people! It was a great Sabbath!
And a second picture, because we don't want to leave out Eliza!

We Love You Elder Perry

As a Mission, we pray for Elder Perry and his sweet family during this most difficult time.

Service Opportunities

Oh the things we do for service, and for deceased pets!

Saying Good-bye

Saying good-bye to Elder Parsons, and wishing him well in life after the Mission.

It's Important to Know How You Received Your Calling

I recently assigned missionaries, a sacred responsibility for which we always come fasting. I assigned 240, my share of...

Candy? Candy Bar?

Elder Hildebrandt and I have a difference of opinion, help us decide; Elder Hildebrandt thinks "Skittles" are a candy bar. I say, NO! Just candy.

Teaching Fun

Had a great time teaching with these super duper Elders, Elder Milne & Elder Jorgensen. And we especially loved watching them teach their investigator how to tie a tie. Thanks Elders for the invite.

Sister Jackson

Said good bye to Sister Jackson this week. We will miss her here in the FTM! Love you Sister J!

Monday Motivational

Send me your personal pics representing this theme, and we'll post them!

Senior Couples Conference

We had a fabulous Sr. Couple Conference in Panama City Beach. We love spending time together, and the scenery was pretty awesome too!
And we had a little fun at Gulf Marine Park.
We are so grateful for our Senior Missionary Couples who dedicate themselves to the work!

In Monroeville

And as the Monroeville Elders stood on the doorstep to knock, they saw . . . . ..

Pensacola Prep Day

Lynn Haven Baptism

Smokey's baptism in Lynn Haven. A very special day for Elder Butler, Elder Huntsman, Elder Kent, Sister Palmer, and Sister Peterson.

Christmas All Year Long

Some people celebrate Christmas all year long, but you don't usually see them celebrate upside down. Thanks Elder Johnson and Elder Bovee for sharing!

Be Prepared!!

Hurricane season is upon us! Missionaries, if you do not have your 72 Hour Kits ready to go, please do so! You can purchase them, filled, from the Mission office. Call Sister Green to order one for $25. Do not be caught unprepared! This is a requirement for each Missionary from our Area Presidency. Keep a case of extra water in your vehicle or apartment just in case. Sister Coleman and Sister Graham are getting themselves ready in Destin.

Farewell to Sister Mathison

Our last night with our sweet Sister Mathison. We will truly miss her here in the FTM. She didn't want to leave! We had to wheel her to security to get her on the plane. And we had the FSU Sisters try calamari for Sister Mathison's departure dinner.

Elder Fun

Spent time with these FUN Elders today in Bonifay. They make me smile!

Sister Curtis

We loved spending time with Sister Curtis and her Mom who were visiting Destin. Love our missionaries!

Where Are They Now?

Elder Cameron Wilkey served in the FTM from May 2012 through June 2014. He served in Crestview, Pace, and Navarre, Florida. He also served on the FSU Campus. He served as a Zone Leader in Pensacola. He now lives in Orem, Utah and just graduated from UVU Fire Academy. He will begin his internship with Lone Peak Fire and Emergency as soon as he heals from his broken hand, which he broke during graduation fire games. We're grateful for Elder Wilkey's diligence as a Missionary, and his powerful example of a committed disciple of Jesus Christ. He continues to serve as the second counselor in the Elders quorum presidency in the YSA Ward at home.

Where Are They Now?

Sister AubreyEnna Garten served in the FTM from May 2013 to November 2014. She served in Tallahassee on the FSU Campus, and in Crestview, Florida. She continues after her Mission to apply her love for Family History learned on her Mission. She serves as a Family History Consultant for the San Luis Obispo YSA ward, and as a Institute Mission Preparation instructor. She also continues her schooling, with a major in Sociology. Everyone of us who knows, or served with Sister Garten loves her. She is a ray of sunshine, and valiant daughter of our Heavenly Father. Thank you Sister Garten for your example.
