It's a Ray Charles kind of Day
We traveled to Madison with our Tally Elders, Elder Thomas and Brewer to attend a Baptism for Elder Rhea and Harding. On our way we stopped in Greenville, Florida to visit a little bit of history. This is where Ray Charles was born. We couldn't resist this photo op!! Love this Mission History!!
Happy Birthday to Pres!
Sunday we celebrated President Smith's birthday. Some of the Tallahassee Elders dropped by with gifts, and a hand-made tie. Their visit, and all of the calls and texts from other Missionaries made the b-day perfectly wonderful. We even enjoyed a spiritual message from Elder Peel and Elder Singley.
Our New Assistant - Elder Jorgensen
We're grateful for Elder Jorgensen and Elder Fortin, especially this transfer! It seemed like there was a kink in every part of transfers this time! But they worked it out! We love and appreciate them LOTS!!
New Missionaries!
Twenty new Missionaries arrived in the Florida Tallahassee Mission this week. They are in their new areas, and working hard. We are so grateful for each and every one, and know they will contribute in a BIG way to the work here in this Mission. Here they are loading up at the Airport on Tuesday.Getting instruction on Wednesday morning before they meet their new trainers . . . .Don't they listen well! And, with their new companions.
