President and Sister Smith
We have now been set apart as President and wife of the Florida, Tallahassee Mission. We will enter the MTC this Saturday for the Mission Presidents Seminar, and then will begin our service in Florida the first of July. We are so excited to have the opportunity to serve again as missionaries. We feel very blessed to be a part of the wonderful missionary effort taking place all around the world. We love, love, love missionaries, and will do our VERY best to lift, inspire, motivate, and bless the lives of all missionaries serving in the FLORIDA, TALLAHASSEE MISSION.
I will keep this blog updated with news, information, and inspiring stories of our missionaries work. It will be a place for families of missionaries to come to find out what the mission experience is like, what you can do as a parent to support and encourage your missionary in their efforts, and to check in on weather related concerns.
Just a little background on us, and our family;
We have five children, and six grandchildren. We live in American Fork, when we don't live in Tallahassee, Florida! We served at the MTC for 3-1/2 years, and served as Mission President and wife in the Marshall Islands, Majuro Mission in 2009. We LOVE missionaries, and missionary work, and are so grateful to have the opportunity to serve in the South.

ReplyDeleteSo excited for you two. Lucky missionaries to have you!!! It will be fun to keep up with your adventures. You will be in our prayers as you serve. Love you JoAnn & Kevin
ReplyDeleteOur son is serving in Tallahassee! Elder Nate Judy has been out just over 17 months. I look forward to being able to follow this blog! Thank you so much for your service and taking care of our missionaries!!!!
ReplyDeleteI served in the FTM from 2003-2005. I've got to say that I'm jealous of the missionaries serving now. I always wanted to be more creative and do more than just tracting. My ideas were always turned down and I was always out hitting the pavement. These family history classes and other missionary efforts look like fun!
