We met our first group of missionaries in the MTC tonight while we were attending the Mission Presidents Seminar. Walked into their classroom while twenty three of them were singing "Called To Serve". Oh what a glorious sight! Be still my heart - I LOVE Missionary work! What darling Elders and Sisters.
We have now been set apart as President and wife of the Florida, Tallahassee Mission. We will enter the MTC this Saturday for the Mission Presidents Seminar, and then will begin our service in Florida the first of July. We are so excited to have the opportunity to serve again as missionaries. We feel very blessed to be a part of the wonderful missionary effort taking place all around the world. We love, love, love missionaries, and will do our VERY best to lift, inspire, motivate, and bless the lives of all missionaries serving in the FLORIDA, TALLAHASSEE MISSION.
I will keep this blog updated with news, information, and inspiring stories of our missionaries work. It will be a place for families of missionaries to come to find out what the mission experience is like, what you can do as a parent to support and encourage your missionary in their efforts, and to check in on weather related concerns.
Just a little background on us, and our family;
We have five children, and six grandchildren. We live in American Fork, when we don't live in Tallahassee, Florida! We served at the MTC for 3-1/2 years, and served as Mission President and wife in the Marshall Islands, Majuro Mission in 2009. We LOVE missionaries, and missionary work, and are so grateful to have the opportunity to serve in the South.
